New York

Precision Biologics supplies Wharton's jelly tissue allografts and extracellular vesicle (exosome) products to licensed physicians and physician-supervised medspas across New York. Accounts are verified against the NPI registry before any product ships, and every lot carries its own documentation trail. We work with practices, not patients, and we do not advise on clinical use.

Where New York clinics fit, by the registry

We currently track five New York metro areas for registry purposes: New York City, Buffalo, Rochester, Albany, and Syracuse. Combined NPPES registry counts across these named cities show roughly 1,107 orthopedic providers, 1,214 pain management providers, and 1,195 aesthetic or medspa providers. These are public registry figures for those specific cities, not a statement about who orders from us, how many accounts we hold, or any outcome, and they are not a substitute for your own licensing check.

What to confirm before ordering

New York clinics generally start by confirming their own license status with their New York medical licensing board or the board that governs their specialty. Medspas should confirm their medical director's supervision duties under New York's practice rules, since oversight of who may order and receive these products depends on practice structure. Because whether a given intended use fits the federal HCT/P framework or the exosome drug framework is a legal question specific to your practice, we recommend review by your own counsel before you place an order, not reliance on marketing claims.

Account setup and cold-chain delivery

Opening an account requires NPI verification through NPPES, confirming you are ordering as a licensed professional for your own practice. Cryopreserved products ship overnight on dry ice in validated containers and are stored at -80 degrees Celsius until shipment; lyophilized formats ship and store at ambient temperature per their insert. Each lot carries a unique identifier, and certificates of analysis, donor eligibility summaries, and lot release records are available to verified accounts on request. Our team also offers physician-level calls to walk through that documentation.

FDA has stated there are no FDA-approved exosome products. Exosome products are generally regulated as biologic drugs under section 351 of the Public Health Service Act, not as 361 HCT/Ps. Purchase and clinical use decisions belong to the physician with their own regulatory counsel.

These products are not FDA approved or licensed for any disease or condition. Information is for licensed healthcare professionals and is not medical or legal advice.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Which New York cities does Precision Biologics track for registry data?+

We currently reference registry data for New York City, Buffalo, Rochester, Albany, and Syracuse. Any clinic in New York with a verified NPI may open an account.

Do the NPPES figures mean those providers order from Precision Biologics?+

No. They are public registry counts of providers by type in those named cities, shown only as market context, not a customer list or an outcome claim.

Is a Wharton's jelly product the same as a stem cell therapy?+

No. We do not sell stem cell therapies. Wharton's jelly allografts are supplied under the supplier's HCT/P framework, and published analyses of commercial cord tissue products have generally found few or no viable stem cells. Whether a specific use qualifies under 21 CFR 1271.10 is a determination for your practice and counsel.
